MILAPHARM, Home Check diagnostic test, iron deficiency test, 1 piece
Home cassette test for determining the level of ferritin in the blood to diagnose anemia. The Ferritin test is designed to determine the level of ferritin in a blood sample taken from a fingertip. Reduced ferritin levels may indicate iron deficiency and anemia. A positive result indicating a normal level of ferritin in the blood means a normal level of this protein - above 30ng/ml. A negative result indicating a deficiency of ferritin in the blood means that the level of this protein is too low - below 30ng/ml.
How to use:
Wash your hands with soap and rinse with clean, warm water. Before opening the bag, bring it to room temperature. Open the foil bag and remove the cassette. Carefully remove and discard the extended lancet cap. Use the included alcohol swab to disinfect the puncture site of the pad of your middle or ring finger. Press the lancet; with the fingertip on the side from which the cap was removed (it is recommended to take the sample from the ring finger). After use, the tip retracts automatically and safely. Keeping your hand down, massage the end that was pricked to obtain a drop of blood. Without squeezing the capillary bulb of the dropper, place it in contact with the blood. Blood migrates into the capillary dropper through the capillary to the line indicated on the capillary dropper. You can massage your finger again to get more blood if a line is not obtained. avoid air bubbles whenever possible. Place the collected blood into the sample well of the cassette by squeezing the dropper bulb. Wait until the blood is completely dispersed in the hole. Unscrew the cap of the buffer solution bottle and add 1 drop of buffer solution to the sample well on the cartridge. Wait until the colored lines appear. The results should be read after 5 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.
