DIATHER, Male fertility test, Magni-Man Pro, 1 piece
The Magni Man Pro test (1 piece) is a rapid, cassette immunochromatographic test intended for the qualitative detection of acrosomal protein SP-10 present in semen. The Magni Man Pro test is used to assess whether the sperm concentration in human semen is below or above 15 million/ml. Information about sperm concentration can be used to aid in diagnosis and to check the therapeutic effects of male infertility treatment.
How to use:
It is important to refrain from sexual activity for 3-7 days before the test. This will allow you to obtain the appropriate volume and quality of semen and obtain reliable results. The semen obtained by masturbation should be collected directly into the container included in the kit. The collected semen should not be contaminated with anything. Shake to evenly fill the container with semen, then leave for an hour at room temperature until the sample liquefies. Do not use semen stored more than 12 hours after liquefaction for testing.
Open the sachet, remove the test cassette and place it on a clean and level surface. The semen sample should be collected in the container included in the kit. The sample is then left for 60 minutes until the semen is completely liquefied. Using the syringe included in the kit, fill it to a volume of 0.1 ml (division on the syringe), then introduce the semen sample into the vial with the buffer. Mix the semen sample with the buffer by inverting it 5-10 times. Holding the buffer with the diluted sample in a vertical position, unscrew the cap of the test tube, turn the test tube upside down and add 2 full drops of the diluted sample (approx. 80ul) to the S well of the test cassette. Avoid introducing air bubbles. Start the timer. The result should be read at 5 minutes. Do not interpret after 10 minutes.
