APTEO CARE, Diagnostic test for the presence of Helicobacter Pylori, 1 piece
Helicobacter pylori test is a rapid immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of antibodies against the Helicobacter pylori (Hp) bacteria in human blood, serum and plasma. The test is an auxiliary diagnostic tool for detecting H. pylori infection. The occurrence of the bacteria is associated with various gastrointestinal diseases, including indigestion, stomach and duodenal ulcers, as well as active and chronic gastritis. Recent scientific research also indicates a link between H. pylori infection and stomach cancer. The colonization of pylori in the human digestive system is accompanied by the production of specific antibodies, which is helpful in diagnosing infections and monitoring the treatment of diseases caused by this bacterium.
How to use:
Preparation for the test: the Helicobacter pylori test detects H. pylori antibodies in blood, serum or plasma. The test should be performed immediately after sample collection. Do not leave the sample at room temperature for long periods of time.
Performing the test:
The test should be performed in a room where the temperature is between 15-30°C. Open the test sachet just before testing. Place the test cassette on a clean and level surface. For serum or plasma as a test sample: hold the pipette perpendicularly and apply 3 drops of serum or plasma (approximately 100 μl) to the test cassette (sample area (S) in the test cassette). For blood as a test sample: prick your finger with a lancet to obtain a drop of blood (approximately 35 μl) and transfer it to the test cassette (sample area (S) in the test cassette), then add 2 drops (approximately 70 μl) of the solution tester or hold the pipette with the blood sample vertically over the sample area of the test cassette (S) and move it to the area and then add 2 drops (approximately 70 μl) of the testing solution. Wait for the colored lines to appear. The test result should be read after 15 minutes, but no later than 20 minutes. The use of the appropriate amount of test material is necessary to obtain the correct test result. If, after 1 minute, no migration of the sample combination with Helicobacter pylori antigens is observed (appearance of a control band) in the test window, add one drop of testing solution (in the case of whole blood) or one drop of sample (in the case of serum or plasma).
