Mycosis is an infectious disease caused by pathogenic fungi from the group of dermatophytes, yeasts or molds. It may affect the skin, nails or mucous membranes. An important aspect of its treatment is the regular use of preparations and the use of infection prevention. Preparations for mycosis are divided according to their occurrence.
However, dandruff is the most common scalp disease, which can take various forms, e.g. dry dandruff or oily dandruff. Its formation is caused by Malassezia fungi living on the scalp, most often of the Malassezia furfur species.
