Indications:

For adult men for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult men.

Dosage:

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any doubts, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

The medicine should be taken about an hour before planned sexual activity. The tablet should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. The time it takes to see the effect of the drug varies between patients and is usually 30-60 minutes. The effect may occur later if the medicine is taken after a large meal. The medicine should not be taken more than once a day.

Contraindications:

If you are allergic to sildenafil or any of the other ingredients of the drug.

• severe heart or liver disease.
• if you are taking: nitrates (please tell your doctor if you are taking any medicines from this group); medicines that release nitric oxide (such as amyl nitrite, so-called poppers), as taking them together may also lead to a dangerous decrease in blood pressure. riociguat (a medicine used to treat pulmonary hypertension, i.e. high blood pressure in the lungs, and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, i.e. high pressure in the lungs caused by blood clots. If you are taking riociguat or are not sure, talk to your doctor) .
• if you have recently had a stroke or heart attack and if you have low blood pressure.
• if you suffer from hereditary degenerative changes in the retina, such as retinitis pigmentosa.
• if you have ever had loss of vision due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy.
