Intimate Hygiene
Intimate hygiene and prevention of intimate areas is extremely important and applies to both women and men. Due to the anatomical structure of intimate areas, women are more susceptible to infections of the urogenital tract. Daily hygiene of intimate areas allows us to feel comfortable and fresh, but in order to properly care for this zone, it is worth following a few rules. First of all, we do not use ordinary soap. The vaginal pH ranges from 3.5 to 4.4. This level is called the optimal level of protection against microorganisms and bacteria, due to the fact that bacteria and microorganisms have difficulty multiplying in an acidic environment. Common, ordinary soaps are usually alkaline and their PH is more than 7, very often around 9 PH. Such soaps are great at removing dirt, but they also remove the acidic protective layer along with it. An alkaline environment favors the development of pathogenic bacteria. The time needed for it to return to the proper PH is up to several hours.
