Brodacid, liquid for skin, warts, 8g
Brodacid in the form of a liquid for the skin is a product intended for use on warts, the active substances of which are lactic acid and salicylic acid. The preparation has a keratolytic effect, thanks to which it destroys the keratinized layer of the wart and contributes to its exfoliation. The drug is intended for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age, and in children aged 2-12 years it can be used under the supervision of a doctor.
Indications:
Treatment of common warts, periungual warts, plantar warts and mosaic warts.
Action:
Anti-wart medicine. Salicylic acid has a keratolytic effect, softens and loosens the keratinized epidermis, facilitating its exfoliation. Lactic acid is a corrosive agent that destroys the keratinized layer of the skin. Dimethyl sulfoxide (an auxiliary substance) increases the penetration of active ingredients into the tissue.
How to use:
Externally. Lubricate the clean and dry surface of the wart with the liquid (using an applicator) twice a day. The liquid should not come into contact with healthy skin. After application, wait until the liquid dries into a white film. The treatment time, depending on the effects, is from several days to 6-8 weeks. Use with particular caution in children aged 2-12.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients. Pregnancy and breastfeeding. Children <2 years of age. Do not use for the treatment of flat warts and lesions located around the eyes, on mucous membranes and on the face. Do not use on hairy or hairless moles, on infected or inflamed skin.
