Action:

Tantum Rosa contains the active substance benzydamine, which belongs to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Thanks to the content of benzydamine, Tantum Rosa has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, local anesthetic, antiseptic and anti-edematous properties.

Tantum Rosa in the form of powder in sachets allows for easy application of the drug. When applied topically, benzydamine is well absorbed, reaching high concentrations in tissues affected by inflammation. It provides a quick analgesic effect, noticeable from the first use. Benzydamine treatment does not affect the natural vaginal flora (it does not affect Lactobacillus acidophilus strains).

Dosage:

Always use Tantum Rosa as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. If you are not sure, ask your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

The recommended dose is 1 to 2 sachets of Tantum Rosa per day, depending on the severity of the symptoms.

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 0.5 liters of boiled and cooled water, immediately before use.

Each time, prepare a new solution from one Tantum Rosa sachet (e.g. morning and evening).

Treatment of ailments and symptoms of inflammation of the external genital organs (perineum area

and vulva) coexisting with inflammation of the vagina and/or cervix: rinse the vagina with a solution

obtained from one Tantum Rosa sachet 1 to 2 times a day, unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Treatment of ailments and symptoms of inflammation of the external genital organs (perineum area

and vulva) and in postpartum ailments in the perineum area: wash the perineum and vulva area with the solution obtained from one sachet 1 to 2 times a day.
