Alugastrin, suspension for heartburn, reduction of hyperacidity /250 ml
Alugastrin - in the form of an oral suspension with a mint flavor that relieves pain associated with hyperacidity of gastric juice. Alugastrin neutralizes excess hydrochloric acid in gastric juice.
Indications:
Alugastrin is used for the symptomatic treatment of:
- hyperacidity of gastric juice,
- damage to the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum,
- peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum.
Dosage:
- Always use exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
- For oral use.
- Shake the bottle before use.
You should consult a doctor if after 14 days in adults and after 7 days in children there is no improvement or if the patient feels worse. Adults and children over 6 years of age: 1 tablespoon (15 ml) one hour after meals and before bedtime or in case of discomfort.
Action:
Alugastrin has a protective effect on the mucous membrane of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum, thus relieving pain caused by hyperacidity of gastric juice. The drug does not cause excessive alkalization of gastric juice or secondary stimulation of hydrochloric acid secretion.
Contraindications:
When not to use Alugastrin: if you are allergic to sodium dihydroxyaluminum carbonate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine, if you have severe kidney failure.
Specific References
The active substance is dihydroxyaluminum sodium carbonate (Dihydroxyaluminii natrii carbonas). 15 ml of the drug contains 1.02 g of dihydroxyaluminum sodium carbonate.
Excipients:
liquid sorbitol, non-crystallizing, xanthan gum, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, simethicone (emulsion), propyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium saccharin, chlorhexidine digluconate, solution, field mint oil with reduced menthol content, purified water.
