Starazolin red, Eye drops, 2 x 5ml
Starazolin 0.5 mg/ml are eye drops containing tetryzoline. This substance applied directly to the conjunctival sac causes spasm of small blood vessels at the site of administration. Starazolin drops for red eyes are recommended for symptomatic treatment of eye inflammation accompanied by swelling, burning, redness and tearing. The package contains 2 bottles, each with 5 ml drops. Once opened, each should be used within 28 days.
What is Starazolin for eyes used for?
Starazolin is used in the symptomatic treatment of conditions accompanied by swelling and hyperemia of the conjunctiva, caused by irritating factors such as dust, smoke, contact lenses, wind, bright sunlight, chlorinated water, cosmetics, as well as in allergic inflammations such as: hay fever and allergy to grass pollen. Starazolin relieves the accompanying symptoms: burning, itching, soreness, excessive tearing and irritation.
Contraindications:
- If you are allergic to terrizoline - the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
- In children under 2 years of age;
- If you have glaucoma, especially narrow-angle glaucoma, or other severe eye conditions;
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
