Action:
Tribiotic contains three antibiotics with different ranges of action. Bacitracin works mainly on Gram-positive bacteria. Neomycin and Polymyxin B work mainly on Gram-negative bacteria. Thanks to this composition of ingredients, Tribiotic achieves a broad spectrum of antibacterial action.

Indications:
Tribiotic is used to protect minor wounds, scratches and burns from bacterial infection.
Contraindications:
When not to use Tribiotic:
- in case of hypersensitivity to zinc bacitracin, neomycin sulfate, polymyxin B sulfate or any of the excipients of the preparation,
- on mucous membranes,
- on large areas of damaged skin,
- on deep or stab wounds, severe burns,
- in the eyes,
- on oozing skin lesions.
Dosage:
This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Tribiotic is usually used up to 3 times a day. The skin should first be washed and dried. A small amount of ointment is applied to the affected area.
Can be applied under a sterile dressing.
Do not use for longer than 7 days.

Specific References
The active substances are zinc bacitracin (Bacitracinum zincum), neomycin sulfate (Neomycini sulfas) and polymyxin B sulfate (Polymyxin B sulfas).
1 g of ointment contains 400 IU/g zinc bacitracin, 5 mg of neomycin sulfate and 5000 IU/g polymyxin B sulfate.
Excipients: white petroleum jelly.
